Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to do the following:

Identify content performance deficiencies in breast cancer concepts focusing on risk factors, evaluation, staging and reconstructive surgical approaches in plastic surgery.
Apply the knowledge of diagnostic criteria to evaluate and interpret ultrasound-guided aspiration and biopsy results to determine the presence or absence of BIA-ALCL.
Recognize the importance of accurately determining lymph node involvement, including the role of axillary lymph node assessment, sentinel lymph node mapping, and excision.
