This Surgery Spotlight will provide an in depth look at the Second stage tissue-expander implant-based Prepectoral breast reconstruction after nipple sparing mastectomies performed by Dr. Richard Baynosa of UNLV School of Medicine in Las Vegas, Nevada. He will review his preferred technique for this procedure with control and management of the mastectomy pocket, placement of a larger form stable silicone implant, and fat grafting to the bilateral breast.

Upon completion of this video, you should be able to:

Recognize Setup, Preparation, Draping and Infusion of Tumescence for Liposuction Incision.
Recall steps for isolation and removal of Tissue Expander.
Identify important inspection and management factors for the pocket.
Determine the appropriate size of the final implant.
Recognize assessment of symmetry and placement of implants and recall steps for closure of breast.
Distinguish steps for suction assisted liposuction in preparation for fat grafting.
Recall techniques for fat grafting to the bilateral breast.
