The Resident Education Curriculum (REC) was developed by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) in concert with the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons (ACAPS) to provide a unified online plastic surgery curriculum. These materials are reviewed and updated annually by the ASPS/ACAPS Curriculum Development Committee. Each module contains a pre-test, journal article readings, audio slide lecture, typical clinical case scenario(s), additional resources and a post-test. Pre-tests cannot be re-taken, but post-tests may be taken until a passing score is achieved.
