He presented fat grafting as both a corrective and rejuvenating tool, especially when enriched with stromal vascular fraction (SVF) or stem cells. He described mechanical, enzymatic, and culture-expanded adipose-derived stem cell techniques, and shared revision and primary body contouring cases showing improved skin quality and contour restoration.<br /><br />Dr. Hugo Aguilar presented the “ribose” technique, a rib remodeling approach designed to enhance waist definition and body shape by bending, not removing, ribs. He explained rib anatomy, patient selection, CT-based planning, surgical steps, fixation methods, and complications management. He stressed that the procedure can be combined with liposuction and fat grafting for stronger contouring effects.<br /><br />Dr. Ricardo Proto focused on high-definition liposuction combined with ultrasound-guided intramuscular fat grafting. He explained gender differences in anatomy, the importance of muscle selection, and techniques such as UFEM, mid-back grafting, bikini bridge, and thigh augmentation. He emphasized careful anatomy knowledge, ultrasound guidance, and gradual skill progression.<br /><br />The session ended with a Q&A on outcomes, risks, contraindications, and training advice, reinforcing the importance of expertise, patient selection, and safety.
