When we think about chin injections, we want to think about what it is that we're trying to achieve. We have the mentalis muscles that are close to the midline, and we have the labiomental sulcus. We want to think about elongating the chin, we want to think about anywhere from five to seven units in this area, and allow it to capture both sides of the mentalis muscle. We want to think about skin quality, contract your chin a little bit, thank you. We're going to think about, you can relax, we can think about more superficial injections in this area with about one to three units, and the bottom lines we want to say more central and medial, almost in the midline, as opposed to lateral so it would not affect the depressor inferioris labia muscles. Let's begin. We're going to go with a one point injection technique, one point injection technique in the center, deep, and we're going to give five units in this area, good.
Video Summary
Chin injections aim to elongate the chin and improve skin quality. Key considerations include targeting the mentalis muscles near the midline and avoiding the depressor inferioris labia muscles. The recommended approach involves using 5-7 units for deeper injections near the center and midline, and 1-3 units for more superficial injections. The one point injection technique is used, focusing on placing five units centrally to enhance effect without impacting surrounding muscles. The process also accounts for improving the labiomental sulcus area.
