Video Summary
The surgeon performed nasal tip deprojection by skeletonizing and transecting the medial crura while preserving the medial crural footplates. Approximately 4 millimeters of each medial crus was excised to increase mobility without violating mucosa. The medial crura were then stitched to a robust columellar strut graft using horizontal mattress sutures to refine and secure the nasal tip. Although the tip initially appeared over-rotated and swollen, continued suturing improved the natural anatomy. The procedure included dorsal hump reduction and tip refinement, resulting in a nasal shape expected to suit the patient well after swelling subsides.
