Video Summary
The review covers common oral cysts and tumors. Gingival cysts arise from dental lamina and usually resolve without treatment. Dentigerous cysts surround unerupted teeth, especially mandibular third molars, and are treated with enucleation and extraction. Radicular cysts form at the apex of nonviable teeth; treatment may include root canal therapy and cyst removal or marsupialization. Odontogenic keratocysts are linked to Gorlin syndrome and treated with enucleation and adjunctive therapy. Neurofibromas may involve the inferior alveolar nerve, particularly in NF1, and are excised. Ameloblastomas are locally invasive jaw lesions treated with curettage or resection, depending on size.
