A Systematic Review of Efficacy and Complications of High-Definition Liposuction

No deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolism was reported.<br /><br />Patient satisfaction was high, with an overall satisfaction rate of 92.6%. However, the authors noted that the evidence base is limited by inconsistent reporting, lack of standardized outcome measures, and reliance on retrospective case series. They recommend future studies use validated patient-reported outcome tools, such as BODY-Q, to better compare techniques and outcomes.<br /><br />Overall, the review suggests HDL is a safe and effective body-contouring procedure with low major complication rates and high patient satisfaction.
